Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Overview 🔎
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an additional layer of protection to your Validit.ai Admin account by requiring users to verify their identity through a second authentication factor — either email or SMS — in addition to their password. This helps prevent unauthorized access, even if login credentials are compromised.
Permissions 🔑
- Organization Admins – Can request MFA activation for their company account.
- Once MFA is activated, all roles (Admins, Members, and Restricted Members) will be required to set up and use MFA the next time they log into the Admin platform.
Description 📝
- What is MFA? Multi-Factor Authentication strengthens account security by requiring two verification steps during login:
- Enter your username and password.
- Verify your identity with a one-time code sent via email or SMS.
- How to Enable MFA (Organization Level)
- Only Organization Admins can request MFA activation for their company.
- To enable MFA, please open a support ticket or contact support@validit.ai.
- How to Log In Using MFA (For All Roles)
- Log in to your Validit.ai Admin account.
- If your account includes both an email and a phone number, you’ll be prompted to choose your preferred verification method (Email or SMS).
- If your account includes only one contact method, the verification code will be sent automatically to that channel.
- Enter the code received.
- Click Verify to complete your login.
- MFA will be required each time you log in.
Tips 💡
- MFA is mandatory for all users once activated by the Organization Admin.
- Keep your email and phone number up to date to avoid login delays.
- If you do not receive your verification code, check your spam folder (for email) or request a resend.
